When you subscribed to our
newsletter mailing list, I promised that I would not fill your inbox with
frivolous junk mail. This is now the second newsletter, in as many months.
I hope to be able to keep up a one per month pace, but I do get busy at
different times of the year.
In last month's newsletter,
I announced that since I now have a smartphone, and since our new cart system has
social media integration built into it, that I would start using

touch with folks while I am out in the field and not near my office computer.
Some folks were really put off by this and promptly emailed to let me know about

All of us choose to use the
technologies that we feel most comfortable with and that is fine. I
appreciate the feedback, even when it is not supportive of a decision of mine,
as it helps me understand the needs of all of our supporters. However, it
is unreasonable to expect me not to use powerful communication tools that are
quite literally in my pocket. That said, using your feedback, I have added a
feature to my blog
page so that those of you who don't use
Twitter, can still
see the tweets I make. These can be viewed at the top of the right column of
my blog page.

is our informational site. It allows me a place to spread out a bit and
include resources that just don't fit well at our storefront. The blog
basically allows me to dialog more personally with all of you about what is going on here on the
farm and at the Victory Seed Company. Stop by and check it out when you
have a moment.
One announcement that I
recently blogged about was actually a bit of a brag. Our farm has been Certified
Naturally Grown (CNG) since 2006 and I just received word that we were selected
featured farm on the main page of the CNG web site.
